Thanks for visiting our Mena Art Gallery website. We are located in the beautiful town of Mena, Arkansas, in the Ouachita Mountains. Our objective is to encourage individual and community involvements in the creative arts, and to inspire and encourage all ages of artists. Our gallery is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the creative lifestyle of our unique Ouachita Mountain area, as well as expanding a standard of excellence. Additionally, we look forward to embracing the many artists who have moved to the area from all over the world, bringing with them new ideas and fresh interpretations of art. Our gallery and shows reflect our interest in both new and old, amateur and professional, classic and contemporary, each offering its own beauty.

We provide growth through our workshops, seminars, field trips, classes, art shows and exhibits. In 2012, we will have 12 different shows, entries open to anyone. Check our Exhibit page for details about entry dates and themes. The Education page usually describes the many interesting workshops and classes we offer.

We hope you will take the time to explore our website, put the events on your calendar, and visit our gallery. If you are an artist, or just enjoy the arts, consider coming to one of our members' meeting (third Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m.) and get to know the other artists--we look forward to meeting you. Because artists often work in creative isolation, our membership meetings strive to provide that sense of connection and encouragement and a forum for ongoing art dialogue. Having a facility of our own—a center for meeting, education, artmaking, and sharing our work with the community—is a unique privilege that not many small city art groups have. To keep it up and running, we need all our artists. When you come to membership meetings, come with the expectation of sharing interests, ideas, and inspiration with fellow artists.
