| A drawing class will be offered for High School students and adults with beginning to intermediate skills who would like to improve their ability to depict objects more realistically on a 2 dimensional surface. The class will move from line drawing to seeing and rendering objects 3 dimensionally through the use of shading and perspective. Though work will be done in pencil, the skills and principles practiced in the class will be applicable to any drawing or painting medium. The instructor will be Lorraine Timmerman. She has experience drawing in several media and has drawn and painted many backdrops for the Ouachita Little Theatre. When: The class will meet at the gallery on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM beginning August 26th for 8 weeks, ending October 14th. Cost: $40.00 Materials needed: Practice paper-8 1/2 x 11" or larger(can be copy machine paper), kneaded gum eraser, Graphite pencils, HB,2B,4B,6B.
