Because artists often work in creative isolation, our membership meetings strive to provide that sense of connection and encouragement and a forum for ongoing art dialogue. Having a facility of our own—a center for meeting, education, artmaking, and sharing our work with the community—is a unique privilege that not many small city art groups have. To keep it up and running, we need all our artists. When you come to membership meetings, come with the expectation of sharing interests, ideas, and inspiration with fellow artists. That is foremost and most important.

Experience October in the Ouachitas--delightful weather, beautiful views, crystal clear streams and rivers, and friendly peopleThe Ouachita Art Trail will be held for three days, Friday through Sunday, October 10, 11 and 12, 2008.

To follow the Ouachita Art Trail, guests will begin at the Mena Art Gallery, on 607 Mena Street, across from the Ouachita Little Theater, where you will pick up the maps and directories.
